Winston Health Policy Fellowship

Winston Health Policy Fellowship Details Learn about the process of health policy development by working directly with policy-makers in both the public and private sectors. The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend and related expenses for a twelve-month period beginning in June. The David A. Winston Health Policy Fellowship is a unique opportunity in that the program includes systematic exposure to organizations, associations, and coalitions in the private sector, as well as policy development centers in Congress and the Administration. A distinguished Board of Directors has the responsibility of helping assure the quality of the experience. The Winston Staff and Board of Directors will work with the Fellows to plan the orientation visits to key policy development centers during the first three months of the Fellowship. During the remaining nine months, the Fellows complete a full-time placement that allows them to gain first-hand experience in policymaking and explore current issues
