ROLE TYPE:

Independent contractor position

As-needed basis

WHAT YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE: 

Assessments: You’ll project manage and conduct client organizational assessments, analyze findings and make recommendations for go-forward strategies. 

Research: You’ll research best practices and collect data for relevant, trending topics in the IDEA space. You’ll summarize critical findings and make recommendations for their use.

QUALIFICATIONS

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Deep interest in and alignment with values of IDEA, racial justice and social justice
  • Work experience in IDEA consulting (preferably 5 years or more)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IDEA within organizations; experience implementing IDEA strategies that are aligned with client priorities
  • Strong consultative skills, with demonstrated ability to advise senior stakeholders 
  • Project management skills and attention to detail; ability to produce high quality, client-ready work
  • Critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity for learning and openness to feedback 
  • A love for collaborative work environments!
  • Development of deliverables: Working as a key member of a collaborative team to develop project deliverables.
  • Qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis: Apply rigorous analytic thinking and creativity to the collection and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Commitment to advancing health and racial equity
  • Demonstrated skills in project management including establishing program processes and protocols, managing timelines, and developing relationships through effective communication
  • Strong communication skills as demonstrated by organized and clear written deliverables and ability to tailor writing to different audiences.
  • Experience conducting qualitative research (focus groups, interviews, contextual inquiries) and quantitative research (survey design, statistical analysis).
  • Ability to create welcoming structured spaces for meetings and group work, virtually and in-person. This includes the ability to create and execute on realistic agendas and meeting outcomes, lead creative icebreakers, and adjust meeting pace and goals in real time.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Google products (Drive, Calendar, Documents, etc.), Survey Gizmo/Alchemer, and Survey Monkey.
