Position: Research & Evaluation Manager

This is a fully remote salaried position. Pay ranges from 55-70k a year + 401(k) + health benefits. Deadline to apply is 3/12/21

You Are…

  • Deeply committed to research in service of community

  • Versed in black and third world feminist theory, or critical race theory, decolonial theory, anti-racist practice, or social justice practice

  • Detail-oriented and committed to tending to the small things

  • Excited about working in a culture that prioritizes innovation, interdependence and joy

You’re experienced in…

  • Community-based participatory research

  • Qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation, including data analysis with various software: MaxQda, Nvivo, SPSS, SAS, R.

  • Databases and data collection systems, such as airtable, salesforce, survey monkey, and qualtrics.

  • Setting priorities and managing multiple, multifaceted projects simultaneously

  • Communicating and honoring boundaries

You’re able to…

  • Communicate complex information effectively in writing and speaking, and tailor communication for different audiences, including non-research audiences

  • Build relationships with diverse stakeholders

  • Conduct focus groups, interviews, and/or field observations to answer qualitative research questions

  • Design original research and evaluations tools

  • Balance accountability with emotional intelligence when interacting with partners, clients and the team

  • Offer, receive, and respond to regular feedback

You have…

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience conducting research and/or evaluation projects using both quantitative and qualitative methods

  • 3 years of leadership or primary investigator experience

  • A Masters or PhD in social science or other relevant field with strong emphasis on research methods
