Fundraising Associate

Position Description
We are currently seeking up to 4 individuals for numerous

projects related to marketing, outreach, fundraising and program development.

Individual projects will be developed in collaboration with qualified candidates.

We are seeking individuals who are driven and creative and who will bring initiative,

new ideas, and diverse expertise to our new and growing NGO. We are committed to

providing opportunities for impact and growth and hope that our GEH LAB interns will

also participate in our research programs.

Compensation

Academic credit available (e.g. field experience, capstone, and internship)
Responsibilities
The Fundraising Associate will assist GEH LAB in developing and implementing

fundraising plans and activities including events, online fundraisers, and donor

engagement.



Duties:

Develop and implement external funding strategy including donor prospects
in coordination with GEH LAB team and board
Research potential funding opportunities
Create templates for responding quickly and consistently to fundraising
opportunities
Create templates for outreach and donor engagement
Assist in development and promotion of crowdfunding campaigns
Organize and manage fundraising events/activities (SDG photo contest etc.)
Work with outreach coordinator to develop and implement recruitment
campaign for research program
Maintain and build Fundraising and donor spreadsheets
Provide administrative support to GEH LAB team related to fundraising such
as maintaining internal communication channels, calendaring/scheduling
around event/activity timelines, preparing board communications


Other related duties:

Assist in the design and dissemination of GEH LAB brand
Share content with Social Media, Outreach and Program teams for distribution (e.g. blog posts, social media updates, newsletter articles)
Provide support in storytelling and communications activities (e.g. write blog posts, provide tips/training to scholars and staff)
Assist in recruitment and outreach activities and campaigns
Assist in crowdfunding and other fundraising campaigns of research scholars
Assist in marketing and business development activities
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge, experience, and/or passion for non-profit fundraising or online crowdsourcing campaigns
Excellent writing skills required
Administrative or related marketing experience
Knowledge of Public Health, Sustainable Development Goals and International programs
